The Top, a beloved Gainesville institution, approached me for a comprehensive brand refresh that would modernize their identity while preserving the character that has made them a staple of the local dining scene. With a reputation for eclectic charm, craft cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere, The Top needed a brand evolution that felt fresh yet familiar.


CHALLENGE: The branding was recognizable but visually dated and inconsistent. The goal was to create a refined yet playful identity for menus, signage, and digital platforms, reflecting the restaurant’s warm, inclusive, and slightly offbeat personality.

SOLUTION: I developed a new brand system that retained The Top’s signature quirkiness while introducing a more polished, versatile aesthetic.
