Baby J's Bar

BRAND IDENTITY

Baby J’s Bar

A refined identity for a cocktail bar shaped by jazz, vinyl, and late-night atmosphere.

Baby J’s is an intimate cocktail bar built around live jazz, vinyl listening sessions, and DJ-driven nights. The identity needed to feel polished without becoming formal—drawing from classic music culture while giving the bar a distinct contemporary presence across the space, printed materials, and digital touchpoints.

SETTING THE TONE

The identity was built around contrast: classic but not nostalgic, sophisticated but not stiff, and expressive without competing with the atmosphere of the room.

A restrained typographic system, rich materials, and music-driven applications allow the brand to shift naturally from gold leaf and tile to menus, matchboxes, coasters, and the bass drum onstage.

The brand needed to complement — not compete with — the immersive interior created by Chinotto House. Rather than dominating the space, the identity was designed to support its atmosphere: distinctive enough to be memorable, but restrained enough to let the materials, lighting, music, and overall experience take the lead.

The result is an identity that feels at home in the room: understated at first glance, richer in the details, and inseparable from the music and atmosphere of Baby J’s.
