Palomino is a space that embodies the grit and camaraderie of a timeless pool hall. Located in the historic Pontiac Sales & Service building in downtown Gainesville, it honors its setting by preserving the original Pontiac ghost sign, keeping its history alive. The branding needed to reflect that heritage—something that felt like it had always been there while bringing a fresh, engaging identity to the space.

The large-scale exterior mural at Palomino has become a defining landmark in downtown Gainesville, seamlessly blending vintage aesthetics with a modern edge while complementing the preserved Pontiac ghost sign. Its striking presence has made it a popular photo spot for visitors, embedding Palomino into the fabric of the city. The mural’s impact is so significant that it is even depicted in the local Trader Joe’s mural, further cementing its status as an iconic piece of Gainesville’s visual identity.
